Really tasty thanks
This vegan milk chocolate was surprisingly creamy... I literally couldn't believe it was vegan. Plus, they're donating profits from this bar to the Trevor Project, which is absolutely amazing!
I think they should be bigger. I kept having to open a new wrapper to eat more. They tasted great though.
Upon arrival I immidiately opened the box containing both the new rainbow squares as well as the caramel truffles. To my surprise all 50 treats were placed into a silver liner cool bag, warm to the touch, kind of squishy when liften out of the box, and both ice packs were thawed and warm. Opened the silver bag to see all treats squished together to form a sort of melted chocolate art piece with each piece still within their individual unmarked silver packaging. I picked up a few different pieces to inspect since all looked identical and there were no markings to show which were squares and which were truffles. My heart sank upon feeling how melted each piece was. Not the best packaging for these treats, that for sure, however I placed everything back into the original box it was shipped in an left them for the rest of the evening.
Thankfully this story gets better, and I must say I was relieved when handling the treats the next day that each piece had hardened, albeit into kind of odd shapes. More than half of the squsres (I ordered a 40 pack) were in pieces within their wrapper. That being said, although these treats looked a hot mess the flavor delivered enough sweet mylk chocolate and delightfully crunchy sprinkles that kept me going back for another one. Both my hubby and I ate through the caramel truffles quickly, and we're now tackling the rainbow squares.
TLDR; these treats may arrive hot from shipping, allow them time to cool either on the countertop over night or in the fridge and you will not be disappounted in taste. A simple reminder to not judge a book by its cover! :)
Not sure what it was but these squares were extra creamy! Definitely worth a try and you guys should try to make the other bars this smooth too! Love the rainbow squares lol-- sprinkles are a little too crunchy but love the idea
